Manage your Safepay plugin
Learn how to manage payments through Safepay on your Shopify store
After you have installed the Safepay plugin, you should perform a few test transactions to understand how you can configure the plugin and reconcile payments going forward.
You can manage the Safepay app status from the Settings page by clicking on Deactivate Safepay to disable Safepay Checkout. Please note that your keys should remain configured for the plugin to work.
You can also tick the Enable Test Mode checkbox to use the plugin in test mode and simulate payments against your store. Test mode will use the Sandbox Account ID and Secret key you configured when installing the plugin.
When your account is approved by Safepay to accept live payments, you can uncheck the Enable Test Mode checkbox. After this, all payments processed by the plugin will have real financial impact.

Updating your API keys
If for any reason, you need to update your Sandbox or Live account Secret keys that you configured when installing the plugin, you can always regenerate them from the appropriate Safepay dashboard and update them on your Shopify Admin.
Navigate to the Safepay plugin management page on your Shopify admin and click on the Manage button as shown in the image below

This will take you to a page where you can replace your keys. Remember to click Continue to save your chages before returning back to your Shopify admin page
Reconciliation
When a customer places an order on your Shopify store and pays through Safepay, you should reconcile the payment with your Safepay dashboard. On your Shopify admin, when you go to view a specific order you will most likely see something like this:

The first thing to note is whether or not the order is a Live or Test order. If you have enabled Test Mode for Safepay, then all orders will be test orders you will see a yellow notification on top.
If you scroll down to the Order Timeline you will see the following

Expanding this section will give you details related to the payment against this order.

The unique reference ID under the Payment heading will be listed as Order ID on your Safepay dashboard, under the Metadata section of the payment details page.

Wrapping up
After you're satisfied with testing and have been given the green light by a member of the Safepay team signaling that your account is ready to process live payments, remember to uncheck the Test Mode checkbox so that your customers can start making live purchases from your store.
